Frequently Asked Questions

How much does the event cost?
The two factors that influence cost the most are the studio's event rental fee and the level of complexity of the event. An interactive group demonstration will be less than a hands-on glassmaking activity.
How far in advance do we need to plan?
A 90 day runway is ideal. This ensures we have decent chance of securing a studio space, but also ample time to design the RSVP -> Event -> Followup flow to maximize pipeline opportunity.
Where is the studio?
We work with studios across the US. I typically look for venues within a 15 minute drive of the conference venue, which is achievable in most US cities. 
How do participants get to and from the venue?
The most common way is either an Uber voucher or a shuttle. We can discuss which makes the most sense based on budget and priorities.
What do attendees make?
That depends firstly on the hosting studio's equipment, and secondly on cost. Options typically include a fused glass tile and a blown glass bowl or ornament. 
What about safety?
Safety is our top priority. Attendees must wear close-toed shoes, and eye protection is provided. Additionally, each participant signs a waiver, and the whole event is covered under our insurance policy.
